The main program will take place at two spectacular sites, The Incan Sacred Valley of Urubamba and magical Machu Picchu. We will be received by a Native Shaman who will perform an ancient Incan ceremony of welcome and initiation with the group. Day trips to spectacular settings, relaxation, and teachings around recovering our own lost wisdom will be an integral part of our journey. Then, on June 20th we board the train for Machu Picchu in preparation for celebrating the holiest day of the year for the Incans, the Solstice, on the morning of June 21st . To be standing on a terrace in these ancient ruins as the sun comes up over the majestic peaks illuminating the area makes you feel like you are standing on God's alter of peace.

We will visit sacred temples and enjoy the city as it prepares for the Inti-Raymi Festival. This celebration, done in original Incan dress, is the re-enactment of the ritual that calls back the Sun. Next we go to Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world and spiritual birthplace of the children of the Sun who founded the Incan Empire. We will end our trip by returning to Lima and preparing for re-entry to the U.S.
